Feature & Follow #30: I'M FEATURED!!

Feature & Follow button

Feature & Follow is hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read where each host will have their own Feature blog to show off more new blogs!

I got picked to be this week's featured blogger on Alison Can Read! Thank you!

When did you start blogging?
I started in July of 2014! Can't believe it's already been seven months :D

What is your favorite part of book blogging?

Getting to interact with other book lovers! I love being able to chat and flail about everything book-related. It's so much fun!

What type of books do you mainly blog about?
Mainly Young Adult and New Adult for me! Although I have recently started reading some Adult books and found them really enjoyable!

What is your favorite book(s)?
I recently fell in love with The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon because it's SO good! The world is so complex and the characters are all so fantastic. I can't wait for more!! It's a mixture of different genres so I think it'll appeal to a lot of readers.

What has been the best thing that has happened to you because of book blogging?

The best thing is also my favourite thing which was my answer for question #2~ It's been so wonderful getting to know other bloggers. Before I started blogging I had no one to talk books with but now I have a bunch! I'm so grateful for the chance to be friends with these awesome people!

This week's question:

Do you read more than 1 book at a time, and if so, how, like a certain amount of pages per book before moving on to the next one in the queue?

I try to stick to one book at a time however I have read two books at once. That happened mainly because a) I either wasn't in the mood for the first book so I had to set it aside or b) because I received review book(s) that required my immediate attention. I never go over two books at a time though and I also finish the two before I start a third!

Do you read more than one book at a time and thank you for visiting!

  1. Great response. I'm the same, I try to keep it down to on book, but sometimes I need to switch it up and pick up a second book. I like to think I'm being productive haha

I'm like you. I usually only read one book at a time. I just read too fast to start a second or third book!

  8. Congrats on the feature!! I don't usually read more than one paper book either, but I think as long as they were different genres I could keep them straight! Haha! Old follower :)

    1. That's very true! I don't read multiple books at once cause I don't want to confuse the stories but different genres shouldn't be a problem ;)

  10. Yay! Congrats on being the feature, that's incredibly awesome. And, ohmygosh, I absolutely ADORE The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon. Have you read The Mime Order yet, because it's even better and holy crap that ending. lol. It totally caught me off guard.

Usually when I'm reading more than one book, it's one that I have on my Kindle (a review eGalley, etc.) and then a physical one that I've picked off of my shelf that I'm trying to get read. :)

Happy Reading and Hopping Through! :)

Omg I'm like you too! I don't read two books at once very often but if I do, one is an ebook and the other is a physical. Hope you have a great weekend~~

  11. Congrats on being featured blogger! I admire you for your response. I try to keep the book count I'm reading at small as possible but sometimes I just get stuck with some books and set them aside because I don't want to force myself to read them. That's why I've two to four books currently to read, usually.

  12. Ooh, congratulations on being featured! I also started blogging in July, small world. :)

I juggle books, currently I'm juggling three, but it's kind of easy-ish since they're all in different formats (laptop, Kindle and physical).

I pretty much pick up whatever I want. If it's at night though (or dark), I'll read on my Kindle since it has a backlight. If I'm on the laptop, I'll be sure to read at least a couple chapters a day and then if it's during the day, I'll read the physical copy. :)

    1. Wow you read on your laptop?! I don't think I could ever do that but I'm like you with kindle and physical copies.

  13. Congrats on being featured! I am incapable of reading only one book at a time for some reason. I often have one audio and one kindle, and then yet another I have to read for class...

I'm a one book at a time girl myself! If a book doesn't work for me, I usually DNF it or will keep trudging through to see if it picks up. Only 1 at a time for me.

I'm the total opposite on reading multiple books. I am almost never reading less than two books. I can't only focus on one books.
